I'm pleased to read what you meant, but it's a pity that's not what you
wrote which was:
] A quorum of a meeting shall be three committee members and the lower
of ] 5% of the Full Membership or 40 people.
I took the 'and' there to have an additive meaning, but clearly you
didn't. Unfortunately, we don't have a Supreme Court to interpret our
constitution. A better form of words would have been something like:
] A quorum of a meeting shall be the lower of 5% of the Full Membership
or 40
] people, of which at least three must be committee members.
but of course I write here with benefit of 20/20 hindsight.
