'Open-source programs, which are available without charge on the Internet,
pose one of biggest threats to Microsoft, Chief Executive Officer Steve
Ballmer has said. OpenOffice, like the free Linux operating system, can be
modified by users, in contrast to programs from Redmond, Washington-based
Microsoft, whose software runs on 95 percent of all personal computers.'


I think the message that "there's more to PC's then just Microsoft" is
slowly getting through to decision-makers.
