At least the faq did say
" We anticipate developing ROS to run on the UNIX and LINUX platforms at 
a later stage. "

They haven't ignored the fact we exist.  Seems the worst case is to 
speed up the "later date" rather than try and make it happen at all.  A 
glimmer of light at the tunnel end you might say.

Or perhaps I'm naive.  The words "later date" and anything to do with 
the civil service are a scary combination I'll admit!
