[ILUG] Mozilla looking for local pages

When reading the New York Times on-line,
I have no problem bringing up any article in Mozilla,
but when I click on the second page of the article,
Mozilla looks for it on my computer,
and cannot find it,
eg <file:///var/tmp/kdecache-tim/krun/3746.0.25brzezinski.html>

Is there some Mozilla setting which will avoid this?
