[ILUG] {Q} adding/upgrading DIMMs?

Brian,
The last time I needed to do something like that I just search for the model 
of my pc on one of the ram manufactures sites like crucial or kingston,  got 
the details of the type of ram they revcomended then looked elsewhere armed 
with this info.
