Indeed, they don't support linux, but it will work on linux.
6 months of debian-connectedness confirms this :)

You will basically be on a private lan by connecting via the ethernet
connection. Unless of course you've enabled bridging in the modem, in
which case you'll have to do PPP stuff.

The simple way is to let the netopia handle the actual broadband
connection, and all you need to do is plug in the ethernet cable.

Set your conenction to use DHCP.
Host name is the name of your machine (anything you like)
domain name is blank.
