[ILUG] FC2+SCSI+Tape

Hi,

I am hoping somebody can help me with a FC2+SCSI+Tape problem.

I am running Fedora Core 2 (2.6.8-1.521) with an Advanced System
Products ABP940-U / ABP960-U SCSI card. Connected to the card is a HP
SureStore DAT 8 (C1529H).

$>/usr/sbin/kudzu -p gives :

The tape drive does not get listed.

$>cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:

i.e. nothing.

I have tried changing the SCSI ID on the tape device from 1-6 but no
joy. The tape drive is properly terminated and cabled, AFAIK.

though no resolution....I was wondering if anybody has any tips or
ideas I could try.
