never used nagios anyway?
Keith, if you're looking to save money, you could take a while to look at
perl's WWW::Mechanize module, which can be used to simulate a user-agent in a
way a little more involved than LWP::UserAgent. If the simulation of the path
through the site is pretty static, this should be simple enough (filling in
forms, storing cookies, etc.)
After that, you can use your favourite run-something-and-fire-errors program,
like mon, or even *shock* Nagios!
