[ILUG] Connecting to internet

I think this is the USB modem for ISDN that Eircom initially gave us about two
years ago. Although it claimed to have kernel modules for Linux I think it
was only for one edition of Redhat... so pretty useless.

I ended up sending it back and getting them to replace it with the DSS
webflyer which is the serial port, external, ISDN modem they also supply.
That works fine... plug it in and pretend its a normal modem.

If you want to go down the route of ISDN and don''t like the horrible kludge
of passing it via an external modem I have a couple of internal ISDN cards I
could sell you cheap still in their boxes, less than a year old and Linux
compatible. They cost £48 sterling new ... yours for Euro 20 each

Manufacturer : EICON
Product : Diva v2.0 ISDN PCI

AFAIR, the mini vigor has a proprietry kernel module, which is cack and
only built for certain kernels.

Check and see if they have improved the situation with newer drivers on
their website or get an internal isdn pci card which supports isdn4linux.
