So you have a quibble about one specific aspect of e-voting, as 
implemented/proposed to be implemented in certain countries, and that 
you'd prefer an implementation with certain controls, as implemented 
by others.

Possibly I dont have as fine an appreciation of the terms general and 
specific as you have. I would have thought that the term e-voting in 
general would encompass both those systems that have, and those that 
do not have audit-trails. Maybe I'm wrong.

I still dont think the term e-voting, in general, has any connotation 
of trust or lack of, no more than the even less specific term 
'voting' would have.
