[ILUG] Still no joy with Eircom hotspot

Thanks for your response.
Sadly my WiFi card (Orinoco Gold PCMCIA card)
does not support iwlist scan ,
at least with the standard orinoco_cs kernel module.
I'm told it does work with a more recent version of orinoco_cs
(not yet in the kernel).

On the other hand, I think "eircom" must be the correct ESSID,
as I did not connect under Windows with other choices.

I think I did try that (opening a browser),
but perhaps not under Windows.
I'll try that tomorrow ...
(This free hotspot is costing me a fortune in coffee.)
