Hi all,
I've been thinking about getting a 12" Apple Powerbook and installing either YellowDog or FedoraCore on it. I see a succesful report for Debian Sarge here:
http://www.mamiyami.com/powerbook/
with the very important exception that the wireless card doesn't work at all. I've been wondering if I could route around that problem by using one of the USB 802.11b dongles such as:
http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=120184
Has anyone on the list:
1) Used these dongles succesfully with a particular distro?
2) Used these dongles with an Apple Powerbook for this reason?
3) Had an alternate approach to the problem that works?
Thanks for any info you can give on this.
Oisin
