Quoting Niall O Broin (niall at linux.ie):
> Which, according to Fortinet, is
> "a very small piece of FortiOS firmware"
Which, one notes, means it's all the more peculiar that they couldn't
either use it in _compliance_ with its licensing terms or write their
own replacement code.
We're evidently supposed to think "Hey, it's only a small bit of code,
so them ripping off the copyright holders is basically OK." But my
interpretation is "Excuse me? Are you claiming to be incompetent or
dishonest? Please pick one."
> I'd like the Fortinet people to explain this line though:
> It is unfortunate that the GPL team has a record of repeatedly filing
> lawsuits against growing technology companies such as Fortinet to
> seemingly serve their own commercial interests
Translation: "We're the _real_ victims here!"
Poor little sprogs.
