So where is inson (is not suse or novell), a script to remake the
Suse/Novell pro images as Free discs with any
non-redistributable/non-free components removed? Or do Suvell* already
have this? Distrowatch suggests no free download of 9.3 but surely now
that Yast is Free there is no problem building a Free Nose*?

From what you have described Rick, it seems nothing has blocked this
since 9.1 (as none of the 4 packages you mention sound neccessary to
me). Linux Caixa Mágica and kmLinux both have free downloads and are
based on Suse, however neither is up to speed with 9.3 and may be too
specialised (and not come with the complete dvd)..

Does this simply demonstrate that their is no real demand for this, that
everyone just copies it anyway or that the people who want it are too
lazy to do it or distribute it?

I assume that in fact nobody really wants to copy Suse 9.3 just to get
at these 4 packages (or any one of them)?

BTW, what do Suse do vis-a-vis mp3/dvd support in their pro edition? Is
it all removed/not present or licensed or ... ?

p.s. congratulations, you've made it to the end despite that first paragraph
