[ILUG] O'Reilly User Group Goodies/POTD Friday, 9pm, Schoolhouse

O'Reilly sent a bundle of lovely goodies today; stickers, postcards,
"The Future is Open" booklets, "Tim O'Reilly in a Nutshell" (also
books, not the man himself shrunk down) and the like.
The stickers and postcards will be dispensed at the next POTD, which I
propose we hold at traditionally short notice, on Friday (April 29th,
9pm, The Schoolhouse Pub), and at any subsequent events (provided I'm
given enough notice to bring them!).
Anyone who wants a copy of "The Future is Open" (a booklet with sample
chapters of several O'Reilly books) is welcome to one - the first four
to let me know they want one will get them. The "Tim O'Reilly in a
Nutshell" will be added to the ILUG library. Currently, this is
located beside my bookshelf - books will be loaned to any ILUG member
who promises to return them =) If anyone has suggestions as to where
this could be more permanently housed (ICS have been approached,
waiting on a reply), please let me know!
If there are any O'Reilly books you wish to review, please let me know
also and I'll look for a review copy.
