I think thats a great idea. It would address the key problems that are 
mentioned here ( and in various IT articles etc. )

Basically, companies are hesitant to use linux because they feel they are 'on 
their own', whereas with the proprietary route, they have a service wrapped 
around the software.

Make support available, be it a small company mailing list or consultancy 
service, and it might help open source adoption.
