Perhaps those people shouldn't but, the system in place allows that to
happen. In which case the system, not the user is deficient.

No matter what the NRA would have you believe... "guns" really do kill
people, guns are bad, guns are a bad system and if the system of gun
ownership were abolished in the United States completely, then violent
crime and homicide would certainly diminish.

Same thing with email. If you hand a child a gun, where the child
doesn't even really understand what a gun *is* and then tell that child
to use this gun wisely, you can hardly criticise the child for making a
mistake with that gun.

Similarly in this domain, the clueless marketing droid who emails a
100mb file (an extreme example) is that child. Probably nobody ever said
"bad monkey, no emailing your hardisk to people..." so /already/ the
system has failed. Actually design a system that prohibits abuse and you
completely remove the ability to circumvent so called "common sense" or
"established/expected behaviors".

Expecting /normal/ people to adhere to the gentleman's agreement style
netiquette that most LUG people observe, is like expecting chivilary in
modern warfare.
