[ILUG] Wireless LAN

I was going to put a CAT5 cable in to link pc's in seperate rooms in the 
house but as Im in process of some renovations and thus was not sure 
which rooms the pcs would end up in I held back.  I then thought that a 
wireless LAN might be an idea but Im not up to speed with these new 
fangled things and I was just wondering about the pros and cons in a 
domestic setting.  I know there is wireless kit availbe at not much 
money but is it worth attempting or not really.  If it is what kit would 
be recomended?
