Hmm. Could do with some more detail here. Does the above mean that it
does actually mount, but it's not writeable? If so, if you could reply
with the output of:
ls -ld /media/ipod
and
id
we might be able to help you.
If that's not the issue, check the output of 'dmesg' to see if for some
reason the ipod is being assigned a different scsi id (such as /dev/sdb,
/dev/sdc, etc).
