[ILUG] USB flash drive on FC4.

Hey folks,
I'm using a combination of udev and autofs to automount my usb flash
drive under FC4.  Everything seems to work fine, apart from the fact
that accessing the drive is painfully slow.

Anybody have any ideas of how to diagnose and fix this problem?  I've
used similar setups on other distros and never had a problem.
