[ILUG] Advice on laptop BIOS failure

I once tried to replace a hard drive on a sony vaio 505fx, a 4GB with a 10GB 
and it would not work. Looked to me like it would not accept the bigger 
capacity drive. Latest BIOS was installed. I don't know if that could be 
you're trouble.
