Snr Linux Administrator - Based Dublin



Our Client, based in Dublin, is looking for and experienced Linux
Administrator with experience of remote management/Admin of
 Production/Dev/Test/Staging environments. The person will have
experience of
working with Enterprise environment of 50+ servers and have experience
of
Loadbalancer, Switches, Firewalls, various Linux distributions (RedHat,
Gentoo) and MySql Databases.

Experience:
    5+ years in a similar role
    Experience in supporting large mission critical Linux systems
    Experience in providing 24x7 support to production systems

Skills:
    Linux installation/optimization
    Standardization of environments
    Network optimization
    Shell Scripting
    System/Network Management/Monitoring
    Data Backup and Recovery
    System/Network Security
    Comprehensive networking knowledge, including LAN, WAN and data
transmission protocols.
    Detailed knowledge and practical experience of systems and network
management technologies including : SNMP, MRTG

Beneficial if knowledge in these
    MySql (setup/tuning/clustering/backup)
    Apache
    Programming: Java, Perl, PHP
    Management skills as this role may need to manage a junior SA

Travel:
There may be occasional travel to the States - amount is yet to be
determined

Candidates must be readily available and eligible to work in Ireland
