I'm confused.  Boards.ie is a web based forum.  And it has blogs and
wiki's on it - the latter linux.ie lacks.  Couldn't the BieLUG create
a web pressence on the boards.ie wiki?

If that's not going to work, what do you mean by a web page?
Do you just want an account on linux.ie and the ability to post news
stories, announcements and other articles?  Do you want a url like
http://boards.linux.ie/ or http://bielug.linux.ie/ and then the ability
to add content from there?  What kind of CMS would you need/want?  Or do
you just want a link to the BieLUG boards.ie discussion area?  Would you
want one of those linux.ie urls to redirect to your boards.ie linux forum?

What mailing list do you want - what do you want it called?
How would it be described?  The lists that exist are here:
http://www.linux.ie/community/mailinglists.php.  Boards.ie has forums -
wouldn't a mailing list be redundant?

Many people here don't use boards.ie.  What's the url to your forum
there?  Do you guys have tips or articles on using boards.ie with linux?
Firefox extensions that are useful, RSS readers that work well, tips on
getting java applets to work?  In my quick glance at it, I saw blogs,
forums, wiki and chat.  What are the linux specific areas on boards.ie
that you guys have set up?
