[ILUG] Grub Boot issue

Deal with the problem, not the symptoms...

Don't install windows.  Given that MS Windows is doing the screwups and
the MS Windows installer is blowing away your grub, I'd suggest you image
the MS Windows partition now (you've just reinstalled it right?)
(http://www.mondorescue.org) and when MS Windows screws up again (in a
week or so) just restore the partition from the image.  MBR won't get
touched and grub will be happy.
