[ILUG] Eclipse on redhat 9/any linux distro

Any one got eclipse working on redhat 9 (or any linux distro for that matter)? Are there packages not included in a workstation insatll of redhat 9 needed? 

Eclipse is just crashing at the slapsh screen and telling me to check the .log file.
