Not really, the fact that people /can/ add to it if they wish is a 
plus point.

Wikipedia is still in its infancy. I doubt the EB became a mass of 
accurate articles in just a few years either. Give it time - and even 
with the comparatively short time wikipedia has been around, it's 
still built enough articles to be useful imho.

They could always run windows under qemu..
