True, but nobody cares about transfer size. People care about it being
easy to do. I can't think of an easier way of sending a file to
somebody far away, who's a non-techy.
http - I need a web server for this. Or do you expect them to have a
web server with http uploads set up so that I can send them my cute
pictures of babies?
ftp - I need to have an ftp server? Or they do? Both poor solutions.
scp - I should give them an account, specially tailored to limit
access to scp (very hard) on my box? Or should I expect them to give
me an account on their box?
I've gotten my mother to use email. I don't think she's gonna like
being taught how to scp.
