Customer Service Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service Engineers report to the Operations Manager and handle all
aspects of Technical Support calls from customers covering all Netsource
internet Access and Hosting services including for example dial up, ADSL
Broadband, Leased Lines, Domain Registration and Hosting, Email and Web
hosting

You will also handle the provisioning of services to new customers and
configuring of customer premises equipment and related configurations in our
network and systems

Service staff work a normal day collectively achieving support hours of
08:30 to 19:00 Hrs, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

Candidates should be familiar with the broad technical characteristics of at
least some of our applications – E.G DSL, E-Mail, Linux and Windows Hosting,
DNS, Dialup, Leased Lines

Candidates should have previous experience in a telephone technical support
role including familiarity with MS Windows Desktop and Windows and/or Unix
Server systems

Candidates must have knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols and
will preferably have experience configuring and diagnosing networking
appliances such as routers

Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience. The company encourages
