 Nah, kernels, glibc and openssl have been shipped as optimized binaries
going back *years*. Certainly RH 5.x had i686 versions of everything that
mattered.

 Maybe....X ? That's about the only package I could see that'd take
advantage of optimisation that someone would notice.
