Every bit helps.  Sending it to Micheal Martin would probably be best since
he's Ireland's Council representative for this directive - he has the power
to call for a rediscussion (via making it a "B-item" in the Council).

Another good target is McCreevy's cabinet, or both.

It would be better if it came from someone else.  IFSO's already in contact
with the relevant politicians, it would be good if the they knew that we're
not alone in being concerned about this directive.

If we could get a respected member of the opposition to ask Bertie/Martin
something like:

``Now that the EU "software patents" directive no longer enjoys majority
  support, and the only directly elected boddies in the EU legislative
  process have almost unanimously called for a review, will Ireland's
  representative call for a B-item, or will the MEPs elected by Irish
  citizens be ignored?''
