I think John is on the money there. I visited the Beatrix site and it 
is YAKBLLCD (Yet Another Knoppix Based Linux Live CD). It use Gnome 
rather than KDE, and has a very much simplified desktop with just four 
icons. It claims to run on any Pentium class PC with at least 64M of 
RAM.

One of the icons is for Open Office. Running OO with 64M of RAM is, to 
say the very least of it, not going to be a thrilling experience. And 
as a live CD? Good luck.

Nope - it only needs 64M of RAM - says so right there on the web page.
