It's might be worth noting that people who use monolithic kernels, don't 
have an abundance of leeway in criticising a decision to move something 
non-ring0 to ring0.

For shame : Graphics drivers in ring zero.

Thank god in Linux/BSD land we run our file system drivers, network 
drivers, schedulers, ... in userspace...
