[ILUG] "embedded codes" when emailing hotmail from evolution

Hi.
Has anyone seen this problem?

Two MS Windows-based hotmail users have independently reported this
problem to me - junk (see below) like "+ACY-gt+" embedded in the emails
they receive from me. (I use evolution as my email client.)

Any tips?
