FWIW, most of what I've read seems to indicate that it's *our* politicians
- -- notably Harney and McCreevy -- who've been primarily responsible for
the pro-swpat steamroller attempts in this process over the past year.
Sadly, this has given rise to a tide of anti-Irish vitriol, such as [1],
which is just *great* -- our reputation is being dragged through the dust
by multinational-worshipping FFers and PDers. >:(
But really, the question has to be asked -- why does McCreevy feel that
software patents are worth pushing this hard?
