This is a very interesting read. I'm waiting to hear another Phonewatch 
advert. before deciding whether or not a letter to the ASA is in order. 
In any event, even IF Phonewatch can produce such "verified" alarms, 
the Gardai will only respond to be at the premises no sooner than a 
keyholder. So the bottom line is, IMHO, that paying Eircom for 
monitoring is pissing money right down a drain, and possibly lulling 
yourself into a false sense of security.

It was 12 years ago or more. Insurance paid. BUT somewhere in Ireland 
is still a unique and very recognisable ski jacket, and I WILL drive 
over anyone I ever see wearing it.
