Doesn't help. I argued with Eircom about DSL for 4 month. My line (ISDN)
failed every time, after 4 months i connected a PSTN line besides that,
tested it and it passed. =

Fun story: The whole estate is 2 years old and about 3 months after I
got my DSL a college of mine moved in a few 100 yards up the street.
Guess what eircom told him about his PSTN line :( ... It failed, even
being nearer to the switch and only having had phonelines for 2 years. =

Next eircom fun: Never ever have a non-Eircom DSL line and get your
phoneline disconnected. You'll have to reorder from scratch. In the
process of reconnecting the phoneline they "loose" your DSL line. It
simply disappears from the account statement. Really funny is it, when
that actually is on a phoneline considered a business account. Doesn't
make them more flexible though.
