What's FC in this context?

Therein lies the problem. A friend helped me with
the install and he has the discs, and is away in
Europe at the moment.

It was SUSE 9.2 Pro... Would anybody have those
discs? I would be prepared to pay for the media
and meet anywhere in the Dublin area (I'm assuming
that it's legit to pass the discs around?).

Fair enough. As I said, it was SuSE pro.

Once I reinstall, I will do that! I have a couple 
of books here so I should be able to figure that
out for myself, and there's always the list.
