Just in case: As you may be a computer geek jargon newbie:
borked is slang for broken.  As word play (which hackers are fond of), 
people started spelling broken as borken or b0rken - the word itself 
has been kinda broken in sympathy with the thing being broken. It was 
then reverbified (as is normal in english) into borking, borked, etc.
