[ILUG] Mysql

[Linux ilug]

Fixed it for some reason, i had to use this command:

bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql &

where as the exact same setup in college works with:

./mysqld &

And the best part about it is I have absolutely no idea why! God Linux hates me
