That's an interesting comment. Of the above, at most *one* could in 
way be regarded as being behind MS in 'innovation'. One of the others 
has direct lineage back to the first[1] 'innovative' software of that 
type (the MS product does too to an extent, but it was bought in, it 
sucked majorly for many a year, and still sucks quite badly). The 
final one again traces its lineage back to before MS had any credible 
product in that space (and MS *still* dont have a product in that 
space, its crippled for everything but MS protocols).

Sorry, but just cause the MS products are now the better known doesnt 
change the fact they were (in at least two of the cases) late to the 
party and those products *still* suck quite badly..
