As Colm has said - who's going to maintain this modified version of
mailman ?
But as an aside - the motion was advertised, proposed, seconded and
soundly defeated at the last AGM. I believe there were (including proxy
votes) 3 votes in favour of closing the list, versus maybe 50 or more in
favour of retaining the status quo.
If people want this to change, lobby for a new motion at the next AGM,
I'd be fairly sure it will also be defeated, but I could be wrong !
And for anyone who cares - one spam getting through for every 2000
blocked is a bloody fantastic ratio, given the hurdles it's had to get
over to get to your inboxes, I'm suprised we're not awarding it an A for
effort !!
