So, gosh, folks, even when I've bent over backwards clarifying that 
I'm primarily concerned about possible perceptions that my older page
copied Dell's, and had made a polite suggestion/inquiry with them (where
Jakma would have you believe I sent some bellicose demand), you get this
guy coming storming into the conversation to invent derogatory stories
about me, and call me names.  Which he goes far out of his way to do
regularly, despite his loud and frequent claims to have my posting
address killfiled.

That's really very strange. 

I'm never met this guy, and I have absolutely nothing against him other
than this (to my knowledge, unprovoked) personal vendetta.  It's
entirely unclear what his problem is, but at least he's consistent.
