Maybe I'm mistake here but it looks like you are telnetting to yourself (i.e.
the FC1 machine). Its IP address is 192.168.1.1 <http://192.168.1.1> it
seems also. Change your
IP address on the FC1 machine (or do dhcp) and see how you get on.
BTW the orange light only flickers if you have traffic to the WAN (i.e.
on to the internet)
