Well, I think that all people who mail with their corporate accounts, and are
forced to use outlook/exchange, should be banned from posting to ilug.

Q. Why it that then Con?
A. Well, since you ask. Its a PITA for those people replying to
corporate email
(I feel that pain several times each day), as every single outlook user in the
world (bar one or two) post that way. I've tried to get my own team to change,
and I gave up. It also is a major headache replying to customers, except the
ones with sane mailers.

Q. So what the solution?
A. Do not post from outlook, use an alternative.

Q. OK, then, what about those people with restrictions to webmail or
locked down
systems?
A. Oh, thats easy. They can post when they get home.

Q. But what if they need an answer fast and have already justfuckingoogled for
hours?
A. Have you not heard of irc then?

Q. What if they have no access to irc as they work for world domination
company?
A. I do not like your tone young man.

Problem solved.

Incidentally, I have not received a single spam since I launched this domain.
I do not know if this is down to ilug's anti-spam having seriously
improved, or
my new setup. Anyone get ilug spam in the past month?

Thanks all,
Conor.
