Rick.. this is the *Irish* Linux users group.

I've little idea about US copyright law, however over here it's 
called an "original database". The following applies:

"database" seems an odd term, so I've used the terms "collective 
work" and also (i think) "aggregate work". Apologies if those terms 
didn't quite translate to your jurisdiction. ;)
