I looked at all the groupware apps I could find a while back, the only
one I could get to do some of what I wanted was kolab, it was pretty
easy to set up, unlike open-xchange or hula.
This isnt to say other apps dont work, I dont doubt that with enough
knowledge/persistance you could get them to do what you need.
I should mention though, in the end I decided my time was the most
important thing and went with exchange 2003
