For a variety of reasons, sometimes you need to leave ipv6 enabled.

ipv4 could mean look for A records first, then look for AAAA records.
ipv4only could mean just look for ipv4 addresses.
there's already an ipv6 option. i'm just suggesting that there should
be an option to complement it.
