I don't have strong feelings on the topic... however I do believe that a
convention for communication ... a protocol is important and the bottom
posters /won/ whatever fight was had about bottom posting long before,
you or I or most of the vociferous bottom posters ever used the Web

Perhaps... though, I'd venture the corollary is 'truer', since the top
posters are very much in the minority.

It's worth noting us good-guys in Ireland derive massive benefits from
the CAP, which is very bad for quite a few very poor people in the
world. Us good-guys in Ireland deport women to countries which practice
FGM (Google this please) whilst claiming that those same people are
social welfare scroungers. The good-guys in the US incinerated and
irradiated 200,000 Japanese civilians ^civilians^ in 1945. The good-guys
in France sunk a Greenpeace boat, when that boat tried to stop France
detonating a Nuclear weapon contrary to the test ban treaty (97?). The
good-guys in Australia, had up until the 1970s a policies which were
tantamount to Eugenics.

I'm glad I live in such a free and socially progressive country, which
has ... such ... historically esteemed and venerated supports of
justice, freedom and equality on it's side.
