[ILUG] Student in UCD

A student in UCD has been on to me. He wants to set his Linux laptop up
on the UCD network and is running into some problems as the main support
seems to be for Windows.

Any UCD insiders who can help him out?     His address is

Out of curiosity, what is the level of support in 3rd level colleges for
linux users? Anyone got good or bad stories to tell.
