[ILUG] Moving a software raid array

Greetings.

I've moved a Soft-Linux RAID1 array from machine x to machine y.

Under Ubuntu, which I was running on my home desktop until recently,
this array was detected as md0, despite me not having /etc/raidtab
populated with meaningful data.

I installed FC3 in it's place due to me not having an internet
connection at home (for serious tedious reasons related to errorcom,
ripwave non-availability and a suspicion my landlord won't in fact allow
me to put an ariel onto his house for !Ripwave IBB internet access).

In any case, FC3 in it's infinite wisdom is not in fact finding hde1 and
hdf1 as part of ye olde md0 device as Ubuntu did.

I'm sure there is some simple procedure to fix this... though... I'd
appreciate some input, from people who know more about Linux software
raid then I do, before I go issuing commands to reconstruct the array.

For the record, I can mount both hde1 and hdf1 separately and verify
that both contain what I expect them to contain.
